Hullo and happy Friday! Today's post is about foodandholiday's version top-ten best hangout cafe in town,Miley Bistro Italian Fusion. We have been there for more than thrice in just a short span of time, simply because we love being seated on the comfortable sofa and enjoying the kitchen's fusion menus and beverages. This cafe is accossiated with a Vespa showroom owned by the same owner (read : gentleman) who possesses the passion in both culinary and Vespa. Together with the great teamwork in Miley Bistro, we are assured that this cafe has hit the spot in getting everything spot on from the ambience, the food, the drinks and also the songs playing in the background. Vespa, to me, is a very retro ride. My dad owned a blue vespa when I was very very small. I used to stand on the front side of the vespa and I still remember that dad always claim that there's a chin shape imprinted on his vespa's speedometer, by now you should know where I was standing right? LOL. How not to be when I plead him to bring me around the house vicinity EVERYDAY before he leave for work. Hhaha. First child's privilege! Ever since I 'dated' Miley Bistro a few months back, Vespa is no longer retro and vintage, but it's strikingly modern and absolutely classy at the same time. Ok, back to the topic.. The seating in this cafe is actually limited as the space is quite small. If you smoke, they provide outdoor seating too. The place is wrapped in glass on all sides, allowing the transparency and visibility from inside and outside. They have multiple doors too, door to the toilet, door to the outside seating, and door to the parking lot. OK, it's my own version of the doors' functions. LOL. Beyond that, the most significant design element in this cafe is the Vespa-related materials, such as the murals and the picture frames, which depict the histories about Vespa, hanging on the wall. Below is the murals that can be seen at the entrance, outside the toilet and at the parking lot.
And they name this as “Selfie Corner” if I’m not wrongly remember. I love this spot! The lighting, the mural and the vespa. It’s even more magnificent at night. The ladies’ toilet is designed accordingly too, you will feel like you are riding a vespa when doing “business “. LOL!!
And these are all-about-vespa vintage photos in frames.
Next to be written is about the food. I have to admit that we haven't explored much of their menus yet, but we have (only) a handful of recommended dishes, drinks and finger food we would like to highlight here, which I know that those aren't new to most of you guys. - Cinnamon Churros : Idr. 24,000 (before tax) What lured me the most about this cafe is their cinnamon churros which I ever posted here, my always favorite! :) I was lucky to get the strawberry on the plate in my very first churros experience there, but the strawberries never make it to the plate again during my next visit and my next next visit. No matter what the kitchen use to garnish the churros, their churros is all the time the best! Churros with chocolate dip is listed for our next visit :)
- Indonesian Beef Rendang Spaghetti - Idr. 36,000.- After the churros, another greeting from the kitchen was Indonesian Beef Rendang Spaghetti. The friend and I both really enjoyed the flavor of the rendang spices in it. Beef was very good, albeit I need to get the teeth to chew a little bit harder on those a little bit chewy parts. Spaghetti texture was fine for me too. I strongly recommend this if you got there.
- Pollo Chicken Pop - Idr. 32,000.- One of the best finger food ever! What you need is only a mouth, index finger and thumb. No fuss, no mess.
- Avocado C Float Idr.29,000.- This tall glass of Avocado Float is claimed as one of the beverages in the menu book with thumb stamp. For those who is an avid fan of avocado, you should go for this.
- Iced Cocoa Volcano Idr.29,000.- (right) As for the Iced Cocoa Volcano, it's so rich in flavor, but I can't think of many wordings more attractive than the picture itself. You may judge from what you see here. 9 out of 10 people will like it, and I'm sure you will too.
In conclusion, this small chic new nook has all the things in one, despite of its small space. They have the best churros in town (which I personally love the most!) and also they play the most soothing songs in the background. And oh yes! They provide free test ride on the latest Vespa too!
